Pete Miller

Jerroms Miller Specialist Tax. Pete has been in tax for over 37 years and is a specialist in all aspects of M&A tax and lead author of Taxation of Company Reorganisations (Bloomsbury Professional, 6th edition, September 2020). He spent 10 years with the Inland Revenue as a tax inspector, specialising in M&A transactions, and 11 years with Big 4 firms. Pete ran his own M&A tax practice for 11 years, helping other professional advisers with their clients' tax issues, before merging with Jerroms’ corporate tax team to form Jerroms Miller. He is Chair of the Board of the Journal of Tax Administration, a member of the editorial board of Simons Taxes and he is the General Editor of Whiteman & Sherry on Capital Gains Tax and of Whiteman & Sherry on Income Tax.
