Niall advises insurance and reinsurance companies, as well as intermediaries, on a wide range of matters including authorisations, M&A, portfolio transfers, restructurings, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiations under EU and Irish (re)insurance law. Niall has worked with major clients on significant transactions and regulatory issues, including Solvency II, Brexit, and outsourcing. A member of the Insurance Institute of Ireland and the British Insurance Law Association, Niall regularly speaks at industry events and lectures on professional diploma courses for the Law Society of Ireland.
