Jackie Sheldon

Jackie qualified and practised as a corporate solicitor in a large City firm before moving to the North West where she worked at two commercial firms including Hammonds where she specialised in advising on corporate acquisitions. Jackie has been teaching for over 20 years, is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, has a Post Graduate Certificate in Professional Education and is a Certified Management and Business Educator. Jackie has co-authored a book with Kate Shepherd: 'Advising Effectively on the Employment Aspects of a Corporate Transaction - A Practical Guide for Junior Lawyers', Law Brief Publishing, 2021, and is the author of 'A Practical Guide to Identity Verification Under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023/, Law Brief Publishing 2026. She has been approached to write a book on company secretarial practice and has been nominated for an award from Corporate Vision for Most Engaging Educator.
