Introduction

The Crime and Policing Act 2026, when implemented, will introduce new powers for registered providers of social housing (‘RPs’) to assist with tackling Anti-Social Behaviour. The introduction of Respect Orders and Housing Orders plus the extension of the availability of Closure Orders to RPs is the biggest change this decade to the ASB toolkit used by social landlords.

This webinar will provide you with an overview of these new powers, advice on pitfalls to avoid and some discussion around how using these powers is likely to play out in practice both in the community and in court.

What You Will Learn

This webinar will cover the following:

  • What the Crime and Policing Act 2026 will change
  • What those changes are likely to mean in practice
