Introduction

Representing parents and carers in care proceedings can be and is often challenging. Cases involving an accidental injury/death require an understanding of quite often now complex medical matters - knowing when and how to challenge medical experts can be daunting - how do you go about it?

Sexual abuse cases bring their own particular challenges - the need to consider wider issues - such as previous/ associated proceedings, mental health issues etc.

What evidence is required - and how is it found? - But be careful what you wish for given duties of disclosure. A methodical but innovative approach is required - particularly when it comes to massive social media downloads.

This live session will also include how to use the FPR to your tactical advantage and reduce the number of witnesses - often adverse once they step into the witness box.
